Fathers Against Drunk Driving - FADD‘s mission is to reduce the alcohol related deaths within their community. In 1987 FADD founder lost a couple of people that I loved very much: both of them were in their early 20‘s at the time. He decided to start picking up friends and giving them a ride home. He ended up calling this service project Provide-A-Ride. Friends would call and ask if he would provide a Safe and Sober ride home for them. I did not charge them.
